THE BENEFITS

With whole-animal craft butchery comes an appreciation for the process. The journey of our protein—from farm, to shop, to your own kitchen table—is as important to us as the way it tastes on the plate. And when that journey begins out on pasture, void of antibiotics, hormones, and steroids, you better believe it's going to taste pretty damn good.

Provisions on State is proud to partner with likeminded farmers who honor ethical and environmentally sustainable growing practices throughout Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and New York State.

The meats

ANGUS BEEF

A multi-generational family farm in Leona, PA, Jenkins Beef Farm supplies us with black and red Angus beef from cattle born and raised right on pasture.

AMERICAN LAMB

From Sepe Farm in Newtown, CT, our lamb is fully pasture-raised without the use of antibiotics or hormones.

HERITAGE PORK

Owned by Jen Milikowsky (a New Haven native!), Walden Hill provides pasture-raised, acorn-fed heritage pork right here in Connecticut.

FREE RANGE CHICKEN

Antibiotic and hormone-free, our chicken is grown on Amish and Mennonite Farms throughout New York and Pennsylvania.
